This Privacy Policy explains how Donatas Simkus ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at donatassimkus.com and any associated browser extensions, including the SlackLeads Chrome extension.

Website

When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • Usage data such as pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and on-page interactions, collected through analytics and product-insight tools
  • Device and browser information (type, version, screen resolution)
  • Your IP address and approximate geographic location (city or country), derived from your IP address
  • Information you voluntarily provide through contact forms (name, email, message)
  • Messages you send to the on-site AI assistant
  • Parameters included in links we send you (such as your name or company), used to personalize your greeting and then removed from the address bar

Company Identification for Business Visitors

When you visit from a business network, we send your IP address to a third-party identification service that attempts to match it to a company. We use this only to show a more relevant greeting and to understand which companies visit the site. Visitors on home or mobile connections stay anonymous, and we use this to recognize companies, not to identify you personally by name.

AI Assistant

The site includes an AI assistant and a fit analyzer powered by Anthropic (Claude). When you use them, your message and limited inferred context (such as an approximate location or a likely company) are sent to Anthropic to generate a response. Please do not share sensitive personal information in the chat. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Chrome Extensions

Our Chrome extensions, including SlackLeads, are designed with privacy in mind:

  • All data processing happens locally in your browser. No data is transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers.
  • The extension only processes content that is already visible to you on your screen as a logged-in user of the platform.
  • Data you choose to export (e.g., CSV files) is saved locally to your device. We do not receive copies of exported data.
  • The extension does not track your browsing activity, keystrokes, or any activity outside of its intended functionality.
  • No personal data, usage analytics, or telemetry is collected by the extension.

3. How We Use Your Information

Website data is used to:

  • Understand how visitors interact with our website and improve its content
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through contact forms
  • Analyze website traffic and usage patterns

4. Third-Party Services

Our website relies on third-party services that may collect or process data on our behalf, including:

  • Hosting and delivery: Vercel (hosting) and Cloudflare (DNS and content delivery).
  • Analytics and product insight: tools that measure how the site is used, including page analytics and session-analytics that may record how visitors move through pages.
  • Advertising and measurement: marketing and advertising tags used to measure and improve campaigns and reach relevant audiences.
  • Business-visitor identification: a service that matches business IP addresses to company names, so we can see which companies visit.
  • AI processing: Anthropic (Claude), which powers the AI assistant and fit analyzer.

Most of these tags are managed through Google Tag Manager and may change over time. Each service processes data under its own privacy policy. Our Chrome extensions do not use any third-party services or transmit data externally.

5. Data Storage and Security

Website data is stored on secure servers provided by our hosting provider. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Chrome extension data is stored locally in your browser using standard browser storage APIs. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for our legitimate business purposes. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form. Chrome extension data persists in your browser until you clear it or uninstall the extension.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

For Chrome extension data, you have full control: all data is stored locally and can be deleted by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the extension.

Our website and extensions are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
